NOTARY RENEWAL COURSE
This is the easiest notary renewal course to understand in Maryland!
BASIC NOTARY RENEWAL CLASS, ONLY $33.00
By popular demand, this is a basic, narrated, online course for cost-conscious students that meets all requirements of the Maryland Secretary of State to renew your existing Maryland notary commission. This online course lasts only 60-75 minutes, and you can start and stop it as you wish without losing your place. No state exam is required for renewal students. At the end of the course you will download a Certificate of Completion, which is necessary to complete your renewal application. You can renew your notary commission up to 60 days before it expires, or up to 30 days afterwards - if you miss the 30-day deadline, you must apply as a new notary student.

For a few dollars more, students can watch this premium, narrated, online course that also lasts just 60-75 minutes. This premium class includes all of the information in the Basic Notary Renewal Class offered above, as well as the following:

This is an attorney-narrated online class for new Maryland notaries. You can take this course online at any time of day or night in 60-90 minutes. The price includes an online, 30-question state exam which you must pass in three attempts with at least 24 questions (80%) correct.
Upon completion of the course and the state exam, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Certificate of Passing to submit with your new notary application to the Maryland Secretary of State. You get everything you need to obtain a new Maryland notary public commission for only $68.00!

Lots of Maryland residents become notaries to supplement their incomes and make a few extra dollars "on the side." The problem is that, earning a lot of money by notarizing documents for $8 each (the maximum permitted by law Maryland for most notarial acts) can be difficult!
Don't despair! There are many additional options you have as a Maryland notary to generate significant, additional streams of revenue!
Chief among these is to obtain a title insurance producer's ("TIP") license. The combination of a notary commission and a TIP license allows students to perform closings for Maryland title insurance companies as independent contractors ("TIPICs",) or to perform certain higher-level functions as title company employees. Mr. Livornese is a title insurance attorney by profession, and will provide insider information on how to get licensed and get work as a TIPIC.
